Clean Tech Delta is participating in the EU- project Scale-Up, which facilitates matchmaking between SMEs and corporates. In order to do this, “Meet- the – buyer events” (MTB) are organized. These MTB events usually take place in one of the cities where the project partners are established. During an MTB event, SMEs get the opportunity to get a one-on-one meeting with the corporate. Furthermore, skills development and support is offered to facilitate the collaboration between two organisations. There are 2 upcoming events:

Innovative Solutions for SMART Buildings. We are looking to identify innovative projects and solutions for a new joint energy and services offer which will either disrupt the existing energy and services markets or create additional value for our B2B customers.

The goal of this call for projects is to either:

A – Improve the management of delivering energy efficiency, supply and facility management services through a ‘freemium’ technology offer incorporating IoT, multiple building data sources and enterprise systems

B – Creation of the SMART office, commercial and/or industrial building as an experience / service. Driving customer productivity and aligning buildings with their aims and objectives

Outcomes to the solution should focus on:

– Fusion of workplace optimisation to reduce demand with supply optimisation

– Building utilisation linked to energy consumption /performance

– Algorithms to enable our managers and clients to make informed decisions on the optimisation of their buildings

– Long and short term optimisation of space usage

– Employee wellbeing, improved ambience e.g. lighting, noise, air quality, desk configuration etc.

Invitation

LAST CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE

Cambridge Cleantech and ENGIE are pleased to invite you to a meet the buyer event.
We have up to 10 remaining spaces to meet Engie senior managers to discuss how your company could help them meet the cleantech and sustainability challenges they have identified across their global business.
Engie are looking for next generation products and services to help meet ambitious targets for:

  • Digitisation
  • Decarbonisation
  • Decentralisation

Selected companies will get a 25 minute meeting with senior staff from the teams leading these global strategies for the business.

In addition, companies also have the opportunity to participate in and exhibit at Engie’s London Innovation day which is happening in parallel to the meet the buyer activity. Over 60 energy services and cleantech companies will be exhibiting and the event will be attended by over 300 Engie staff along with many more attendees from Engie’s client and supply chains. The event is a fantastic opportunity both to pitch and present your company but also to network amongst some of the UKs most innovative energy services and cleantech companies. Confirmed exhibitors include BMW, Aceleron, Origami Energy, Cambridge Carbone Capture… (full list is available on demand).

Companies interested in both meet the buyer and exhibition space need to reply to anthony.baltz@cambridgecleantech.org.uk by Wednesday 17th May. Slots and exhibition spaces are strictly limited and will need to be confirmed by Friday 19th May.
For companies only interested in the Meet the Buyer and attending the event (no exhibition space) or that would like to find out more we will be holding a pre-event briefing webinar for companies interested in taking part on 31/05. Companies will then have a week to decide if they would like to be considered for a meet the buyer appointment.

Engie are committed to innovation across their business and to engaging with the best ideas from the energy services and cleantech world from outside their business.
