For SMEs that develop and commercialise innovative clean technologies, survival or growth most often implies the right balance, rhythm and timing between finding Strategic Business Partners and finding Investments. On top of that, internationalisation, crossing borders, entering emerging markets, … often prove to be be key for a sound business case.

On the occasion of BSDS 2015, Flanders Cleantech Association (FCA) organises a Track on Cleantech Industry and its Investability.

How investable are innovative Cleantech SMEs? How can they improve their investability? What’s the view of Venture Capitalists, Corporates, Corporate Venture Funds, Banks, Regional Investment Promotion offices, Technology scouting platforms? What’s the added value when regions explicitely team-up and build strong ecosystems. Do their SMEs attract the attention of investors more easily?

We choose for an inspiring format for this session: a number of loungesets will stimulate interaction between investors, SMEs, corporates, banks, and last but not least … the audience i.e. you!  Pitching and debate is also hosted by Clean Tech Delta, Fred van Beuningen, execitive director.
