An inspirational session and networkevent about Future Energy with Prof. Ad van Wijk, Arnold Bos (Lux Research), Roebyem Anders, Vice President Development Sungevity International and Edwin Res,  ZonnepanelenDelen.

Hydrogen
“Affordable and sustainable energy supply” is Prof. Ad van Wijk’s slogan. The term “hydrogen economy” refers to the vision of using hydrogen as a low-carbon energy source – replacing, for example, gasoline as a transport fuel or natural gas as a heating fuel. One of the most potentially useful ways to use hydrogen is in electric cars or buses in conjunction with a fuel cell which converts the hydrogen into electricity.

Bio fuels, chemicals and materials
Lux Research, a Boston based research company with European HQ in Amsterdam, expects a doubling of global biobased capacity in 2017. But Europe’s share will drop from 37% in 2005 to 14% in 2017. Who are the winners in the biobased economy and what is the significance of fuels? Arnold Bos, consultant at Lux Research will give us his analysis.

Solar
Sungevity makes it simple to get solar power. The company designs, finances, installs and maintain residential solar systems in all over the world. Their mission is to build the world’s most energized network of customers who power their lives with sunshine. Roebyem was part of the founders team and brings Sungevity to Europe. She will comment on the rapid development of solar.
