The ambitious student organization ECE (Erasmus Centre of entrepreneurship) Students is hosting a one-day start-up event with the theme “tech & clean tech” in Rotterdam. The Satellite event offers a broad programme for enthusiastic students. Next to speakers that inspire the students with the potential of clean tech, a start-up fair with about 10 companies will give the participants a genuine insight in tech start-ups.

One of the main parts of the event is IdeaLab, a case competition that allows students to work in teams and come up with their own ideas concerning the real-life challenges of three clean-tech start-ups. The teams will pitch their solutions in the end and one team has the chance to win a journey to the Expo 2017 in Kazakhstan. The Satellite event is a collaboration between ECE Students and the study organization START from St Gallen/Switzerland that will visit the event. Thus, international students from Erasmus University as well as interested students from St. Gallen will help to make this event unforgettable. The event takes place on Saturday, 14 January 2017 at ECE campus and the team of ECE Students is highly motivated to make is a success. Visitors can enjoy listening to great speakers, get inspired by the latest technological developments and get creative themselves by participating in IdeaLab.
