IATA and BeMyApp are working together to improve the Business Travel world to a next level of offers.
This is the first edition between IATA and BeMyApp, in purpose to develop and offer a new challenge to the world of developers and Travel Business Industry.
NDC APIs will be the main tool for this hackathon, LinkedIn, SITA, British Airways, Timatic AutoCheck, Chatbots, IBeacon, will furnish alongside data just for the participants…and any other tools like Content, software, APIs, and SDKs to maximise success in creation of these apps.
This Hackathon will be 40 hours challenge, the participants will have to choose one of the two challenge propositions with the help of one NDC API minimum:
- The Travel Business Journey: using tools like content possibilities and others capabilities to provide new services to Business Travelers.
- Travel data: the participant will have to be able to track relevant booking behaviors and to monitor the air expenditures to follow the customers habits and needs.
At the completion of the hackathon, the judges will award the winning innovative applications with a total of $12,000 cash, included an online incubation as well as a trip for two to Geneva. After the online incubation a trip to Dubaï will reward the 1st and 2nd winners to present their project to a high qualified audience during these two big world IATA events.
