The call for ideas is designed for startups and businesses that are able to provide innovation in the energy distribution field.
Originating from a partnership between ABB and PoliHub, Unlock your ability addresses aspiring entrepreneurs who have innovative projects in order to turn their ideas into viable operating models, thus actively participating in the development of a sustainable, environment-friendly energy distribution model.
We are looking for solutions in the following areas:
WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN THE CHALLENGE?
The Unique Acceleration Program at the ABB Italian R&D HQ in Bergamo: the Acceleration Program, which will take place at ABB premises, is conceived and designed to meet the specific needs of the selected projects, to strengthen the technical and entrepreneurial skills of the teams and to effectively support participants in the development of their projects.
The Acceleration Program, which will take place in Bergamo (Italy), will last 6 months, during which the selected teams will be supported by dedicated tutors and mentors from PoliHub and ABB. The Acceleration Program includes:
- co-development of the product/service with experts from ABB on ABB premises in Bergamo (Italy);
- development of a tailored technical and business development path;
- consolidation of the team and the business plan through training sessions;
- networking meetings with key national and international sponsors (business angels, venture capitals);
- professional support by consultants, industry experts, established entrepreneurs, teachers, researchers, etc.
For the participation to the Acceleration Program, each team will receive a monthly accommodation reimbursement of 1500€ per month (1000€ for one-person team).
