What is the ICN passport?

It’s a service that allows for interested members within the ICN network to request assistance when seeking new project partners or business opportunities at a local ICN cluster in the targeted region.

372873_visas_webHow does it work?

The interested cluster or a company who is member of the interested cluster will contact the designated ICN Passport Contact Person at the local ICN cluster. The KAM will help provide contact details regarding relevant partners for the inquiring cluster/company, provide local market reports and help facilitate meetings.

What’s the value for the involved parties?

The interested cluster or company will save time and resources in finding the right partners and new business opportunities whereas the local cluster will have an opportunity to expand its network, meeting potential new partners and gain new knowledge.

WELCOMING OFFICES

 What is it?

The ICN Passport allows for a visiting cluster or member of the cluster to be hosted at the workspace of a hosting cluster. The offer is subject to the availability of the host cluster resources (supporting staff, documentation, space) and terms for the visit must be negotiated amongst the involved parties.

How does it work?

The outgoing cluster will fill out the ICN Passport application and send to the ICN Secretariat. The Secretariat will then coordinate with the local cluster in order to organize the visit. Once the terms have been agreed to (availability, duration etc.) the two involved clusters will organize all practical details of the visit amongst themselves.

What’s the value for the involved parties?

The visiting cluster/company will have an office desk to work from and the possibility to use meeting facilities at the office of the local cluster. The local cluster will be able to demonstrate added value to its own members by facilitating contact with foreign partners creating possibilities for new business.

ICN BENEFITS AND DISCOUNTS

What is it?

The ICN Passport allows for ICN members to obtain attractive discounts to events and conferences in regions where other clusters are active.

How does it work?

An event or conference is being advertised to ICN members via the ICN Secretariat, on the ICN webpage category “opportunities” or through the ICN newsletter “ZOOM”. The advertising local cluster will provide all details of the event and instructions on how to obtain the discount (filling out a template, writing a special discount code etc.). The interested ICN cluster/company contacts the local cluster for any questions regarding the event, how to activate the discount etc.

What’s the value for the involved parties?

The interested cluster will receive attractive discounts to the specific event or conference. These discounts can cover the entrance fee for the event but also travel arrangements, hotels or other benefits depending on the event in question. The hosting cluster will benefit from attracting more visitors to the local event and its local region thereby benefitting not only of the conference itself, but also for its own cluster – allowing to organize networking events or meetings between potential new business partners.
