On Friday June 15 the GIST-project has been officially launched in Rotterdam by mayor Aboutaleb and governor Reynders from Belgian Limburg! GIST aims to accelerate investments in sustainability for 25 organizations in the border region Netherlands-Flanders by developing and co-financing feasibility studies. Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb stated ”The transition to a sustainable industry is important for Rotterdam. It provides cleaner air in our city, an innovative climate for entrepreneurs and has a positive effect on employment in the industry. I suggest entrepreneurs in Rotterdam to send in proposals for the feasibility studies.”
