An interesting interview on duurzaambedrijfsleven.nl with Clean Tech Delta member: KiesZon.
Kieszon, subsidiary of International Solar, fully unburdens their clients by realizing solar power projects. Gideon Overwater, Managing Partner and CFO of KiesZon, sees their service as essential for a fast moving energy transition: “The energy market develops extremely rapid and is constantly subject to changes. Companies as KiesZon, that follow the market continuously and directly respond to changes, are essential to this change”
KiesZon is active in the energy sector for 7 years already, with the aim to make solar energy available for everyone. “We work with the unburden principal”, says Overwater. This means that we strive to simplify the transition to solar energy as much as possible for our clients”.
“Many parties offer financing of solar energy projects, but the key is in the maintenance”.
Clients from Kieszon can lease a solar-energy-installation. Kieszon, then, takes account for the whole realization of the project, from the technical until the financial aspect. Moreover, KiesZon keeps involved after the realization, by monitoring and maintaining the solar-energy-installation.
“Many parties offer financing of solar energy projects, but the key is in the maintenance”, says Overwater. “It is important that the solar-power-installations keep doing what they have to do. For example, it would be disastrous for the yearly energy yield, if the energy production in the summer fails for a couple of days. Therefore, we are on top of this for literally 7 days per week, at all of our projects. We do the monitoring ourselves with our own team of service mechanics. Besides, we provide our clients with pre-emptive maintenance, where needed. This is where we distinguish ourselves”.
This model seems successful, because KiesZon has had many successful solar power projects on her name.
Energytransistion
To ease and accelerate the energy transition, initiatives as KiesZon are essential, states Overwater: “The energy market is almost subject to changes every month, in both the fiscal and technical area. But also on demand and supply. Clients from different markets therefore face different problems.
