New plans by the city of Rotterdam include plans for a metro between Kralingse Zoom – Feyenoord City – Zuidplein. Although we firmly believe in the value of enhanced public transport, Witteveen+Bos and Clean Tech Delta strongly advice to search for alternative and more innovative solutions. Our reasons? Costs and time of realizing a metro connection are high, whereas alternatives such as for example the City Coaster idea by Witteveen+Bos are much easier, faster and cheaper to realize.
