There are two ways to make you sure you are 1 of these 100. Participate in one of our local finals in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Utrecht and Zwolle. The term "hydrogen economy" refers to the vision of using hydrogen as a low-carbon energy source – replacing, for example, gasoline as a transport fuel or natural gas as a heating fuel. One of the most potentially useful ways to use hydrogen is in electric cars or buses in conjunction with a fuel cell which converts the hydrogen into electricity. At this clean tech atelier Prof. van Wijk and other specialists will highlight the various aspects of the hydrogen economy.
